What people come in for
Not a list of what we fix. A list of what people tell us they are living with during and after treatment. Some notice a difference and some do not.
Tiredness and sleep
Many people come in because they are worn down and sleeping badly. We keep the visit short and quiet.
Nausea
People come in on the days between infusions. Acupressure and ear seeds are often a good fit.
Hot flashes
A common reason for a visit. Tell us when they come, so we can plan around the time of day.
Tingling in the hands and feet
We go carefully here, and we choose points with your oncology team's guidance.
Dry mouth
Often a side of treatment. Visits are quiet and the room has water close by.
Aches after surgery
We wait until your surgeon says the area has healed, and we avoid anything swollen.
What acupuncture does not do
It does not replace your oncology care, and we do not change your treatment, your medicines or your appointments. We do not tell anyone what to decide with their team.
If something new or worrying shows up, call your oncology team the same day. For chest pain, trouble breathing or sudden weakness, call 911.
Tell us what is on your mind
Say it when you book, in a few words. We pick the first visit around it.
